Holiday Party
DATV will hold its annual Holiday Party for members on Friday, December 1st from 5:30 to 9:00pm. Join us for some holiday cheer in the DATV studio. Food will be provided by Smoken' Barbeque. Also register to win some DATV prizes just in time for the holidays.
Children's Parade
Thanks to everyone who helped out during the Children's Parade. The weather was so nice it almost seamed like a summer festival. Special thanks to Larry Hansgen and Nancy Wilson from WHIO & K-99 who served as our announcers once again this year.

Fall Preview Party
Join DATV for its "Fall Preview Party" on Tuesday, October 10th, from 5 - 8pm at the Trolley Stop in Dayton's Oregon District.
DATV members, friends and fans are invited to attend this evening of networking, fellowship and celebration of DATV's Fall Season.
You will learn about new shows coming to DATV, meet the local producers of DATV's current shows, learn about community based media and discover how to produce your own program.
There is no cover charge to attend. DATV will provide free food and door prizes.
A special video feature will be shown throughout the evening and current producers are encouraged to bring their own promotional materials about their show.
The Trolley Stop is located at 530 E. Fifth St. in Dayton's Oregon District.

Digital Creation Station
DATV will be at Urban Nights on Friday, Sept. 15th from 5-9pm at Courthouse Square. Learn how a digital video production is created using DATV’s Digital Creation Station. Users can get hands on experience by helping to create their own original piece of Downtown video art that will be shown on DATV. Their video art piece will include animation, music, text and video. All created using the AVID computer editing system. Participants can also register to win DATV door prizes including a year’s free membership to DATV.

Studio Changes
Dale Grow is working on creating a permanent set on the East side of the studio. When completed you will be able to use it to tape your programs without the need to create and light a set of your own. Stay tuned.

Edit Suite 1 Changes
We have reconfigured Edit Suite #1. The major change is that you can no longer edit from SVHS or VHS in that room. All other editing formats remain the same. In addition to that we have added two no monitors, and may the layout of the room more user friendly.
